Free, event focuses on greener, more sustainable lifestyles

The AIGA San Diego’s EcoGrafik is participating in the California Center for Sustainable Energy’s Sustainability Fair. Check out our booth with handout materials for Carbon Footprint, Green Business, Green Procurement and other tips.
The Fair is geared toward small businesses, nonprofit organizations and commercial companies that want to know more about renewable technologies, ways to save on energy costs and how to integrate green products, services and practices into the workplace. Displays and exhibits will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be a series of free, public workshops on topics including the green employment marketplace, green job opportunities, energy-efficiency rebates, water conservation and building sustainable communities. The public is invited to join us and check out the displays of living green roofs and other sustainable home concepts. There will also be live demonstrations of fireproof home-building materials, test drives on hybrid bicycles and, for the kids, a chance to drive solar-powered mini-cars. There will be engaging, eco-friendly activities for the whole family.
